Arrival at IVATO international airport ; assistance during transit formalities for flight to DIEGO SUAREZ Bed and breakfast at COLBERT hotel
Day 2 : Diego Suarez
Departure for the Montagne d'Ambre National park, 32 KM . The mountain has a tropical humid micro climate type. The flora is very rich : great endemic trees, épiphyt plants , pandanus, palm trees and medicinal plant. The fauna is typical to humid forests : several varieties of diurnal and nocturnal lemurs , butterflies , invertebrates and birds such the blue pigeons, crested ibis ... One will see there waterfalls , object of Antakarana tribe rituals . Pic nic Lunch . Drive to the hotel at the end of the afternoon. Free dinner. Bed and breakfast at NATURE LODGE
Day 3 : Diego Suarez - Vohemar
Drive southward across a landscpe of feritile plains . A very good road of 138 kms leads to Ambilobe , the cradle of Antakarana kingdom . Ambilobe is also the region of sugarcane and cashew trees plantations . Continuation to Vohémar (119 kms ) A beautiful township nestling in a beautiful bay .Its main resources are the eploitataion of livestocks by seeway . It was an important commercial cosmopolitan establishment .Production of coffee, vanilla and clove. Passage at the LAC VERT Free lunch , dinner and night at the hotel LA BAIE D'IHARANA .
Day 4 : Vohemar-Sambava
After the breakfast DRIVE TO SAMBAVA ( 153 kms) . Vanilla , coffee , coconut plantations . Free lunch , overnight at the HOTEL CARREFOUR ; bed and breakfast basis .
Day 5 : Sambava - Andapa
Beautiful road of 109 kms , through forests of ravinala, bamboo and raffia
Free lunch , dinner and night at BEANANA hotel
Day 6 : Andapa
After the breakfast , Visit of the reserve of MAROJEJY , typical plants of the east coast, numerous orchids , interesting endemic faunas . Night in the forest lodge on full-board accomodation , porters and cooker included
Day 7 : Andapa-Antalaha
Leave the park after the breakfast and drive to Antalaha ( 198 kms ) . Landsqcapes of rice fields and vegetable culture, vanilla, pepper and coffee. Free lunch , dinner and night at OCEANE MOMO
Day 8 : Antalaha
Visit of the waterage port , a workshop of preparation and conditioning of the vanilla and walking along the river or hike on banks of the ANKAVANANA valley Free lunch , dinner and night at OCEANE MOMO
Day 9 : Antalaha-Maroantsetra ( seul vol existant : mardi )
Transfer to the airport for flight to MAROANTSETRA
Meeting upon arrival, and transfer to hotel. Dinner and night at RELAIS MASOALA , bed and breakfast
Day 10 : Maroantsetra - Nosy Mangabe
Excursion in Nosy MANGABE. 7 KM , in full heart of the Bay of ANTONGYL , the island is totally covered by humid rain forest.. Exceptional fauna and flora as the famous fauwn lemur , the uroplatus , the aye aye , numerous orchids. Night in camps on full-board accomodation , nocturnal and diurnal visits of the reserve
Day 11 : Nosy Mangabe - Maroantsetra
After lunch, back by boat to MAROANTSETRA. Dinner and night in hotel . Bed and brerakfast basis .
Day 12 : Maroantsetra - Antananarivo Transfer to the airport , flight back to Antananarivo . Meeting upon arrival Transfer to the HOTEL DE FRANCE , accomodation on bed and breakfast basis
Day 13 : Antananarivo– Paris or continuation
Transfer to the airport .
